“Rélé’m LUMIÈ” — “Call me LUMIÈ” — is what I heard during a meditation a few years ago, when I was questioning whether pursuing a career in the arts was truly my path.

Born and raised in Montréal to Haitian immigrant parents, LUMIÈ draws from her culture today to shape her artistic identity. She explores the boundaries of imagination through an intuitive process, allowing interpretations to emerge freely in the mind of each viewer.

Believing that our inner world manifests in the world around us, she considers her paintings and creations to be an expression of her soul in its purest form.
